Raspberry Sorbet
This raspberry sorbet recipe captures the essence of fresh raspberries, creating a vibrant and refreshing treat. Perfect for hot summer days or anytime you crave a burst of fruity sweetness.
Ingredients:
- 4 cups fresh raspberries
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
Instructions:
Over medium heat, stir sugar and water together in a saucepan until sugar is dissolved
After you add the raspberries, cook for about 5 minutes, or until they break down
Take it off the heat and let it cool down a bit
Using a blender, blend the ingredients together until the mixture is smooth
Use a fine-mesh sieve to get rid of the seeds
Add the lemon juice and stir
Put the mixture in the fridge and wait until it is cold
Put the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn it according to the directions on the machine
Move the sorbet to a container and freeze it until it gets firm
