Line Texture Cupcakes
Ingredients:
- 1 cup 2 sticks unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 4 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup whole milk
- Food coloring optional
- Buttercream frosting store-bought or homemade
- Piping bag with a small round tip
- Sprinkles optional
Instructions:
Warm up your oven to 350F 175C and put cupcake liners in a muffin tin
Softened butter should be mixed in a bowl until it is smooth and creamy
Add the powdered sugar slowly while beating the mixture until it is well mixed
Slowly add the eggs and vanilla extract, making sure to mix well after each addition
Mix the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt together in a different bowl
Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture slowly, mixing in the milk every so often
Put the dry ingredients in first and end with them
If you want your cupcakes to be a certain color, you can add food coloring
Mix until the color is spread out evenly
Two-thirds of the way to the top of each cupcake liner should be full of batter
After the oven is hot, bake the cupcakes for 18 to 20 minutes, or until a toothpick stuck in the middle comes out clean
On a wire rack, let the cupcakes cool all the way down
Making the buttercream frosting is easy once the cupcakes are cool
You can buy frosting or make it yourself
Put the frosting into a piping bag that has a small round tip on the end
Holding the piping bag at a right angle to the cupcake, pipe straight lines of frosting across the top of each one to make a textured pattern
You can decorate it with sprinkles or any other toppings you like
